Jericoacoara is the final kitesurfing destination in Ceara's north, and the windier it becomes, the better. Jeri is one of Brazil's top kite spots. From June to February, there are 25 kilometers of beach for all circumstances, as well as lagoons and surf places where the wind blows hard. Fortaleza is 4 hours away from Jeri.
The season begins in July, but it improves in August and continues until November, with wind every day. The wind started blowing about 7 a.m. and blew for more than 30 minutes. Also, January and February are not as reliable as December and January, but they are more consistent than January and February.
Warmer water necessitates the use of a licra and a strong sunscreen.
