Home to the Full Power Tarifa competition, it has a great variety of Spots that are perfect for kitesurfing ranging from Beginner to Expert, and from Freestyle to Big Air.
Tarifa is the southernmost point of Continental Europe. its combination of wind and water type creates multiple little spots in the are that can vary in difficulty level and type of water and wind as you move from one to the other.
It's not the easiest area to learn to kite, but it is said that if you manage to learn the basics here, you can kite anywhere. The spots here have two specific types of wind: Poniente, the more reliable and stable one, you may learn to kite with this wind. And then we have Levante, that can get a little more complicated and it's reserved to more expert kiters.
Some of the designated spots are closed during the summer to their difficulty level.
