The spot features a lagoon with mostly flat water, ideal for practicing tricks, with a light shore break appearing only on windier days. Wind conditions typically range from 15 to 25 knots, blowing side-offshore to offshore, creating smooth, steady sessions for riders of different styles.

Thanks to its gentle water surface and open space, the spot is well-suited for beginners learning the basics as well as freestylers looking to perfect new moves. It's also a great location for foiling, as the water is deep enough to launch directly from the shore.

Several kitesurfing centres operate in the area, some offering a rescue boat service for added safety during offshore wind conditions.
