Divjaka is a huge beach that stretches around Divjaka National Park and Karavasta Lagoons with the most extensive wetlands, which are the nesting grounds of many species of birds.
Several kilometers of long and wide beaches stretch along the national park. The beaches are sandy and with a very gradual entry into the water. After a few tens of meters from the shore, the water is still waist-deep.
You can reach the kitesurfing spot along the road from the entrance to the National Park, where there are restaurants, shops and small hotels. From there you continue along a firm sandy path directly to the beach. Caravan parking on the beach is tolerated.
The best wind for kitesurfing here is from the west in an onshore direction. During the ride, it is enough to overcome the waves that form in the shallows near the shore, and then the sea is calmer, which makes the ride comfortable.
Unfortunately, kitesurfing and other water sports are not welcome here, and you will encounter the police who patrol the beach regularly and who can kick you out of the water.
We recommend visiting this kitesurfing spot outside the main holiday season.
