Nafpaktos

The spot is situated on a bay on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth, just outside Nafpaktos Town, in Gribovo beach.

Wind direction is mostly Northwest, West and Southwest direction with average 15-28 knots depends of the day. In summer season stable wind is almost every day and you can kite surf in onshore choppy conditions. There are many local riders in the spot through all year.

Very shallow, warm waters with sand and small rocks. Too crowed in summer time with beginners. Be careful of trash objects into the water.

Rules:

1) Especially during the summer months do not enter into swimmer’s areas (there are buoys in Lepanto Gulf).

2) Do not approach the entrance of the harbor.

3) Do not disturb boats, sailboats, cruise ships etc.

4) Kite areas: Freestyle Zone: in front of kite launching area and near the coast, Beginner’s Zone: after the Freestyle Zone and near the coast, Freeride Zone: deeper of Freestyle and beginner’s Zone.
