The primary kitesurfing season in Moledo spans from May to October when the thermal wind, known as Nothada, typically kicks in around lunchtime and persists until sunset. Offering consistent winds of 20 to 25 knots on most days, Moledo provides ideal kitesurfing conditions.

The beach features specific peaks and sandbars, generating waves almost year-round and creating an enjoyable spot for kitesurfers to navigate both the waves and flat sections. For beginners, local schools are available for lessons.

The water temperature in Moledo ranges from approximately 14 degrees Celsius in winter to 18 degrees Celsius in summer, necessitating the use of a wetsuit.
