As it is often the case on the Dutch islands, the conditions on this spot of Lagoon offers better conditions for kitesurfing than the ones on the mainland, besides offering the advantage of being away from crowds so you can kite in peace on this flat and choppy water that also offers small waves.
Although you sacrifice a lot of the amenities you find on the more popular destinations by going to the islands, here you can still find some very specific services like a kiteshop and rescue services, but little else. Still, not a bad trade for a more secluded kiting spot.
