Hollum has a kitesurfing scene with shallow, choppy, and even some small waves to enjoy as long as you are not a complete beginner.
There aren't any services on the spot, but that's mostly because the spot is not particularly popular, so on the upside there aren't many beach goers to be worried about. The currents can be strong, so be careful with them.
