Close to the town of Nin, a beach shaped like a huge sandbank extends from the mainland, almost as if protecting the ancient town.
This beach is an ideal place for leisure and sports, and when the winds are willing, the Adriatic sea waters are welcoming for kiters. The ideal launching place is right in the middle of the long beach, so even if it gets crowded, it shouldn't be too problematic. There are schools available as well for beginners, as the spot is one of the best to learn on Adriatic waters.
High season temperatures are warm during the best months from May through September. The beach is mostly sandy and the proximity to Nin makes it a popular spot for kiting, as you may find out.
Very nice spot. There is flat water on one side of the beach and choppy water on the other side. Bars in the vicinity, nice historical city nearby, a lot of apartments and restaurants. Beach is really long and everyone can find its place to kite. Unfortunately if you wish to kite here then usually you must go here on the weather forecast and during the summer it’s full of people (not just kiters).
