Mikri Vigla is a large sandy beach on the Naxos’s southwest side. The spot is well known location in Greece that is ideal for both beginners and advanced kitesurfers.
There are a couple of clubs in case you need renting or take some courses. You can expect to find sandy beach amid conditions of unique natural beauty and turquoise water.
The definitive best months for wind would be July-August. It is not uncommon to have gusts of air and while the average air speed falls in the 11-20 knots range, you may catch some winds as fast as 35-40 knots.
