Brouwersdam is a nice kitesurfing spot in Netherlands that offers a well-rounded experience for riders of any level, since it has a wide variety of water types: Shallow, Chop, Flat and Small Wave, and it's also deep enough to foil in. The wide sandy beach lies behind a narrow chain of dunes.
The spot can get somewhat crowded with other kiters and non-kiters too. Be mindful of the presence of shells in the water and on the beach, but other than that there aren't any major risks. There are a variety of services available, including rescue.
