Adana - Yumurtalik

The coast of Haylazlı Village, located in the Yumurtalık District of Adana, is a paradise for kitesurfers. Near the Yumurtalık Lagoon National Park, there are two kitesurfing spots: Yumurtalik - YardiRiders Kitesurf Beach and Cukurova, where the Cukurova Kiteboard Akademi operates.

Both spots offer great potential for kitesurfing because they are located in the Yelkoma Lagoon area. The lagoon's cape prevents waves from the open sea, creating ideal flat or choppy water conditions, with a gradual entry into the water and a sandy beach. The lagoon also has shallow areas.

The kitesurfing season here lasts throughout the summer, from May to October. The best wind direction is southwest, with speeds between 13-20 knots. During the season, thermal winds can also enhance the conditions.

The beach is sandy, transitioning to grassy areas further inland. The YardiRiders kitesurfing school operates on-site, and there is a small rest area for relaxation.
